A field Guide to Weeds

Weeds1
Weeds2

A Field Guide to Weeds masquerades as a 19th century pocket guide, but a guide in which the weeds themselves have taken over.

How clever...love this idea and I think it could transcend into other areas...flowers, bills, etc.

your blog always gives me a smile on my face. such a positive and energetic vibe here! keep rocking swissmiss :)

Oh my. My nick name with some people, is Swiss Miss. Your blog page looks absolutely wild and can't wait to check it out more. My sister would love this "weed" book!!!!

(My friend actually thought I was Swiss when she introduced me to her cousin on a blind date... I'm really Swedish. Close enough?)

This makes me happy.

Wounderful! Thanks for such a great find!

wow, this is GORGEOUS. thank you, tina! xo

Fantastic, love this concept! Thanks for sharing :)

I love this book and the simplicity of graphic use. I posted this book on my design blog as well- couldn't help but share it.

I tried buying one but it's sold out already!
And the lady from the company said it wasn't going to be reprinted until 2009... sigh. Makes me sad.

The book has been reprinted and is available at Printed Matter. See other work at www.idealcities.com. Thanks for all your wonderful comments!
