Bush describes his "Vector Portraits" as photographs made while travelling 50 to 70 mph in Los Angeles and other parts of the Southwestern United States from 1989-1997.

These are good. Someone shot a series just like this in the 1950's (I think it was the 50's) and it was totally great. I saw the series at a The Henry a few years ago and have been inspired to do it myself ever since.

this is one of the best online exhibits that i have seen in sometime. I am amazed at how the photogrpaher pulled these off! These take the idea of observation to another level. thanks for sharing this!
