studio libertiny's vase made by bees
This vase was made by 40,000 bees over the course of one week. Studio Libertiny constructed a vase-shaped hive that the bees then colonized, building a hexagonal comb to encompass the existing form. WOW!
(Thank you Cary!)

There is a small article about Libertiniy in this month's I.D. magazine. I read it about an hour before reading this post, so it was sort of eery. You should also check out the turned paper vases they've done. Good stuff.
