A designy fold down rocking horse

Zm_12037_1

Made from end-of-life rubber wood, the Tori Rocking Horse (2000) makes good use of lumber that previously would have been burned and turned into charcoal. This chemical-free material comes from trees that have ceased yielding latex. This is a normal occurrence when such trees reach 25 years of age and farmers need to destroy them in order to replenish their crop. By salvaging this “worthless” material, a design like the Tori Rocking Horse reduces our dependence on endangered trees and stops the ecological impact of unnecessarily burning fallen rubber wood trees. The horse folds down for convenient storage and the edges are rounded for safety. For ages 2–3.
