My Dad had several Citroen DS's in the 60's and 70's, culminating with the bright grean flying machine - a green convertable. They were amazing cars. After switching on the engine you had to wait about 30 seconds for the suspension to pressurize before you could drive off. I have many, many fond childhood memories of driving through various European countries hanging out of the back seat and pulling faces at passers by.

This video is great. I like it better than the DS video I just saw on Youtube filmed at the 2006 automobile show. Anybody take any videos of the 50th anniversary in Paris? Please let me know and I'll do a link to your video from parislogue.com

Thanks for the link, I found an ID 19 for sale in Melbournne that looks exactly like the one Parisienne in the ad, it needs some work et al, its 3000AUD, seems a bargain to me. BG
