web 2.0 color palette

Paletas

Miles Burke grabbed primary or logo colours from some of the big names in 2.0 land, and placed no less than 70 colours into one scrumptious Photoshop Colour Palette file, for your downloading pleasure (2kb zip file). He's also got a JPG version of it.

UPDATE: Thank you for all your comments below. May I point out that I DIDN'T put this together, Miles Burke did. I am just pointing to it. And yes, we get the point now that PNG would have been better...

thank you so much!!

This is a very odd thing to do... why did you do it?

Slashdot is far from web 2.0 dude. Nobody even goes there anymore.

Excellent work, its so difficult to find nice shades, but you've captured the best there.

Wow, that is going to be helpful. Thanks :)

Nobody goes to Slashdot anymore? That's funny... because their alexa ranking is 225. Must be faked.

Very nice! The image format should have been PNG instead of JPG for better quality!

EXCELLENT

THE HIVEMIND TRIUMPHS AGAIN

SOON NO ONE WILL DO ANYTHING UNLESS THEY ARE ALREADY DOING IT ALREADY

Good, you named the standard colors after some commercial websites? god! dont make them patent those colors :-)

JPG format is ridiculous for colour swatches, use GIF or PNG please.

Nice collection of Web 2.0 colors! Good work!

I did something similar some days ago: http://uberlogging.blogspot.com/2006/09/as-you-may-have-noticed-new-so-called.html

But why did you use a jpg? Use some coloured divs instead.

I have to echo some of the other comments... what good is it to copy and use the same colors / color schemes of other sites? Why not innovate in our own right?

Just because all of the cool kids are smoking Web 2.0, doesn't mean everyone else should too...

@ Dave,

To innovate, I think one should have a solid understanding of what's been done before, what's been successful in the past.

Why re-invent the wheel?

It's not re-inventing the wheel, it's designing.
Not copying.

What about pageflakes.com ?

Excellent! will come in handy.

It's satire, you idiots!

you should of saved a GIF version
