Favicon's an excellent little tool - and free too! We use it quite a lot.

You might want to try to convert to an animated favicon. It will be animated in Netscape and Firefox, but not in Internet Explorer. You have to be careful, or IE, the most popular browser, will ignore you, if you try to do a straight image replacement, so check out the code you must include in your Head section at http://www.cathetel.com/favicon.htm as well as a few favicon making hints.
