Ella turned 1 and we had a big party! Hooray! She (and we) made it through the first year!

Litte Miss Ella is turning six months today! That's why we celebrated with 6 candles and half a cake. Half a year gets half a cake. Happy half-birthday little munchkin!

trip to europe
So, we took Ella to europa for the first time! She got to breathe fresh swiss air, check out a pigstall, sniff on saussages, go to her first swiss wedding, get lots of nonna and opa love and prove to be a traveler at heart. The last 3 days of our trip we went to see the dearly missed Vivien and Josh in Berlin. Oh, how much fun did we have... It was good to see everyone. We miss you!

Ella war zum ersten mal in Europa! Sie hat frische alpenluft geatment, einen schweinestall von innnen gesehen, wuerschte gerochen, war an einer schweizer hochzeit (yay charlotte und marcel!) und hat gaaaanz viel opa und nonna liebe abkekriegt. Ella hat uns bewiesen, dass sie ein reisefuedle ist! Die letzten 3 tage unserer reise haben wir dann noch bei Vivien und Josh in Berlin verbracht. Oh, es war so schoen euch alle zu sehen und we mis you all!

Ella turned three months yesterday! She's gotten chubby and feisty in these 12 weeks. She's a star! Happy 3 month birthday little nugget!

Gary had his first fathersday on sunday. He's by far the BEST poperoni out there! Ella told me. And I didn't argue. Gary/Daddy rocks!

ella had visitors
Ella had some visitors from Switzerland: Gotti Charlotte (her godmother), Opa Hans-Ruedi (Grandpa), Marcel, and Marcel's parents! It was wonderful to have them. Ella misses them all!

nonna trudi and grandma barbara
Nonna Trudi came to visit little ella from may 1st til may 8th. Ella soaked up Nonna Trudi's attention and love. Nonna brought a SUITCASE filled with gifts... little Ella has more clothes and shoes than G and T together. Well, almost...
On mothersday, Grandma Barbara came to visit little Ella and showered her with love.
Little Ella is one lucky girl to have such wonderful grandmas.

G and I are off to the hospital to (finally) meet Peanutella. YAY!

almost parents
Gary and I went for a really nice dinner at the River Cafe tonight to celebrate Peanutella's arrival (tomorrow). Gary surprised me with a wonderful bracelet from Tiffanys and a touching card. I am such a lucky mamacita to have such a wonderful hubberoni.
Tomorrow's the big day. We'll get to meet Peanutella, finally!
